Julianne is an animal lover, dressage enthusiast and arts educator. She is the Fine Arts Coordinator for Fairfield County Schools, where she directs ARTWORKS, the county’s program for artistically gifted and talented students, and teaches general music. She has enjoyed riding for 35 years, and trains with Mary Werning, longtime student of Karl Mikolka. (Visit Karl’s site @ www.karlmikolka.com) Julianne thoroughly enjoys the “the details” of dressage. She firmly believes in using NATURE’S VIEW, an experiential system of natural horsemanship, which has evolved through the work of Camden trainer, Bruce Anderson. Using the system, horse and human learn to mirror each other, thereby moving to a new level of understanding. “There is nothing more rewarding than the day to day training, when a horse realizes that he can understand the language that you are using.” Julianne was introduced to Nature’s View when she went to Bruce for help with her young horse. She has been helping with the business for two years. For more information about Nature’s View, visit www.naturesview1.org.
